Dr. Chetan Sharma pursued his MD (Medicine) and DM (Cardiology) from PGIMER Chandigarh and was Senior consultant interventional cardiologist at SPS Apollo Hospital, Ludhiana.

In a bid to contribute more towards society. Dr. Chetan Sharma envisioned opening a multi-super specialty hospital. He dreamt to create world class healthcare facility at Dehradun,which turned into a reality in 2018 with the establishment of Velmed Hospitals.
